I'm almost laughing at myself. The thought of being home in just a week feels so unreal. At 11.45 am I will put my feet on Swedish ground for the first time in one year and three days. I will meet mom and Johan and hopefully some friends. Then I will go home to my house and I will sleep in my room and I will eat Swedish food again.

Next Sunday I will be able to see Djurgården-Hammarby. And in the evening Paula comes home from Rhodes and she's going to come to my house and we're goung to make marängswiss. Ice cream, chocolate sauce, maringues, bananas whipped cream and sprinkles all mixed up together.

Two days later I will see dad, Britt, Emil and, for the first time, Alba!

Here's a list of everything I want when I'm home!
1. Falukorv (Swedish sausage) and quick-macaronies
2. Polarbread, household cheese and Oboy (chocolate milk)
3. Estrellas sour cream and onion-chips with ranchdip
4. Wine
5. Xider
6. Bulk candy
7. Old fashioned vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and  maringues
8. Lasagne
9. Steak with potatoes, feta cheese and avocado
10. Swedish Strawberries
11. Minute steak with gorgonzola cheese
12. Risotto
13. Cheesedoodles
14. Chocolate wafer
15. Vanilla yogurt with honey puffs

Next Tuesday will be the 4th of August 2009. That will be the day for my Goodbyedinner with my friends. I can't believe it's so soon. That will also be the day when I celebrate one year in the States. It feels wierd that in a month I will be going to school again - in Sweden!

Today I made M try gnocchi. She's the pickiest person I have ever met so I really didn't think she would like it. But lucky me! She DID like it! It was the first thing she told K when she came home. I'm so proud of her!

I've gotten mail twice this week! Both of them were from Stockholm's University. I'm getting really excited to start school again. If I knew that last year I would have laughed! How could I ever look forward to school? After the graduation I felt more free than I had ever done before. I didn't have anything to worry about.

However, the mail said I have to be at the university Thursday August 20th. It's two days after I come home and not even a month from now. Today I only have 15 days until I leave Connecticut. It's nothing! And it also makes it 15 days for Amanda and me to find somewhere to stay.

No I need to get ready for the mall. And then Molten Java tonight!

Times passes by fast now! Today I have 16 days until I leve Connecticut and the family and 27 days until I come home to Sweden! It's barely any time at all! Right now I can't say whether I want to stay everything or not. But I can say I want to go home and i can say I don't want to leave this life. It doesn't make sense at all!

I have no idea what else to write, so I'm going to end it here. Hope you're happy, Paula!

I'm so happy right now! Amanda and I are planning our New York trip and it's going to be the best ever! Ten days is a lot of time, which makes it possible for us to walk around, just as we want, and breathe in New York. Fill our lungs up with New York air that will last until we return.

Right now I'm at Camilla's place. We just got dressed after swimming in the pool for a while! Later we're going to Molten Java. The plans for the weekends are not really clear yet. Some of the days I'm going to meet Mia in New York and than I want to squeeze in a pool party and Lake Compounce. But we'll see what happens!

This weekend was really nice! I spent Friday in the city with Mia! We went to a beauty salon and got our hair and got it styled, got manis and pedis and massage. It was really nice!

Yesterday I had my last au pair meeting! We went to Lake Compounce and it was great! The weather was awesome and it wasn't to much waiting for the rides. I was with Camilla, Marlene, Claudia and Sarah all day. Camilla showed us the best french fries ever! I think I'm gonna het some tomorrow when I go there with K, J and M!

Today I've been home almost all day, escept from when I went to buy a dubble choclaty chip frappuccino and some chocolate! I've been talking to mom, Emil, Paula and Petra. It was nice to have a day like this after the two days before! And Emil got me Spotify today so now I'm happy!

I just got back from Molten Java where i said goodbye to Heidi and Tina. I won't see them again before they leave the States. It's sad and wierd. Next one to leave is myself!

However, I answered to the University so now I'm going to Stockholm's University for five and a half year! It feels good to know what to do back home. I will start at August 26th so I will have a week at home to relaxe and meet everyone and, of course get rid of the jet lag!

I just found out that I got into Stockholms University, so this fall I'm probably going to study teaching with focus on English for Kindergarden to 6th grade!

Right now we're at the library. Me and J are at the computer and M has storytime. I like this library, but I don't understand how the librarians talk can talk this much! The librarians I've met in Sweden always goes around to keep everyone quite.

I only work until 12.30 today and then I'm gonna sleep. I've been so tired this week, but still it takes forever to go to sleep at night. I hope I will be able to sleep early so I won't be tored in New York on Friday. Mia and I are going to celebrate my birthday and her graduation! It'll be so much fun!

I decided to start a new blog in English for all the wonderful people I've met here in the States during my au pair year! Today is July 7th and I have 31 days left with my family and then 10 days in New York City before I go back home.

The feeling I have right now is really wierd. I'm really excited to come home and meet everyone, but I'm also going to miss my life here so much! I'm going to miss the family, all the friends, New York, Connecticut, the mall, EVERYTHING! I will definitely come back some day, I hope it will be soon!
